The food here is AMAZING. They are only open for breakfast, and it's cafeteria style/buffet. The cheese biscuits are the best anywhere. The dining room and bathrooms could use an update, but it's clean. The staff is usually very nice and quick. Prices are great.
This is a great place to get breakfast. I get breakfast here 2-3 times a month. It is a greasy spoon type of place, but if you want a good country type breakfast this is your place. The fried tenderloin is awesome. They also have some of the best cheese (hoop cheese) biscuits around. I also really like the coffee they serve. This is consistently the best breakfast in Wilson.
Freaking fantastic breakfast and price. Place looks rough but the chedder biscuit here would get a nod from a french pastry chef and make a fat southern boy smile. Tastes home made if I lived with my grandma. I work back and forth between Wendell and Durham but I have driven the extra 30 minutes just to get to abrams after a night shift.
In the Mid too Early 80s , Abrams had the Homemade Cheese Biscuit s with cheese pouring out of the crust on top wrapped in Ten Foil and If I'm not mistaken they had biscuits and gravy,but it's been years so.....the drive thru was always packed .It was my favorite once upon a time.
